About Alcohol Concern
Alcohol Concern is the national voluntary agency on alcohol misuse
- We aim to reduce the incidence and costs of alcohol-related harm and to increase the range and the quality of services available to people with alcohol-related problems.
- We act as the national umbrella body for local agencies tackling alcohol-related harm and offering help to the families and friends of those with alcohol-related problems.
- We play a key role in promoting and advising on the development of national alcohol policy and in promoting public awareness of alcohol issues.
- We are the principal source of information on alcohol to the general public, to the press and to professionals on other fields of activity, including government.
- For more information see www.alcoholconcern.org.uk .
